An important element of any dredger is a suction nozzle.<\/p>\n

The suction head is the fifth element of the mini dredger. Without it, the mini dredger is inoperable.<\/p>\n

The suction head performs important functions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Filtration<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Delays coarse fractions exceeding the size of the flow area of the impeller. The absence of a filter leads to clogging of the pump and destruction of both the impeller and the pump casing in the case of stones or other objects (trimming fittings)<\/p>\n

    2.\u00a0Destruction of bottom soil.<\/p>\n

    Splits bottom sediments mechanically and hydraulically.<\/p>\n

    3.\u00a0Pulp preparation<\/p>\n

    In the head there is a mixing of the soil mixture and the final destruction of adherent particles of bottom sediments.<\/p>\n

    The working mode of the pump largely depends on the shape of the suction head.
    \nStructurally, the head is designed as a replaceable tool, which is selected for each particular case.<\/p>\n

    In particular, the division takes place in the following main categories:<\/p>\n

    • For large stones<\/li>\n
    • For durable soils requiring prior loosening<\/li>\n
    • For cleaning from vegetation and debris<\/li>\n
    • For the extraction and laying of sands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Accordingly, all these conditions are made specialized suckers. The main characteristics of suckers are:<\/p>\n

      • size and type of connecting element: camlock, \u201cruff\u201d connections or flange connection<\/li>\n
      • the dimensions of the protective grid, the shape of the holes and their flow area<\/li>\n
      • the presence of cutters, hydrolayers, ejectors and other auxiliary elements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
